The district, which encompasses parts of Nashua and other towns in Hillsborough and Cheshire Counties, is currently represented by Kevin Avard.Roy is a recognizable figure in Senate District 12, and is running on a platform focused on affordability and supporting public education.Hollis Selectboard member Tom Whalen said:“I’ve known Carryl for years, and what I respect most about her is that she leads the same way I believe local leadership should work: by listening first, by showing up consistently, and by putting the community ahead of politics.
