<p>Our public schools have been chronically underfunded at the state level. Instead the state has been funding a voucher program with no income caps, no enrollment limits, and no oversight.</p><p>Meanwhile, we have public schools that are being forced to cut extracurriculars and have classes in buildings that are falling apart. Carryl believes that all children deserve a high quality education, no matter their zip code.</p>

<p>Education is essential and public schools are the back bone of our education system. Serving on a school board Carryl deeply understands the issues they face and she will fight tirelessly to ensure a quality education for every child. </p>
